** Do not eat, smoke, chew or drink any beverages (apart from plain water) for at least 30 min before sample collection.

USER GUIDE:-
SAMPLE COLLECTION
1. Wash your hand thoroughly for 20 sec, using soap and warm water, or use hand sanitizer.
2. Take out the extraction buffer tube, press and insert it onto the designated tube holder (dotted circle) on the box.
3. Peel the aluminum seal (be careful not to pour out the liquid)
4. Remove one disposable swab from sterile packaging. Avoid touching any surface or object. Do not touch the fabric tip of the swab.
5. Do swab 1, put swab 1 into extraction tube containing buffer
6. take the other one disposable swab and do swab 2. Then put the second swab into the extraction tube.
7. Immerse the swab heads in the extraction buffer completely (vigorously mix at least 10 times)
8. Squeeze liquid from both swabs to keep solution in the tube as much as possible and discard the swabs.
9. Dispose the used swabs in the waste bag provided and seal the zipper completely.
10. Cover the tube with dripper head firmly and mix the sample solution thoroughly.
ASSAY PROCEDURE
** Testing should be performed immediately after the specimen collection. Do not expose the specimen at room temp for prolonged period. Samples are stable up to 30 mins when kept in the extraction buffer provided with the test kit.
1. Gently tear open the pouch and remove the test device. Lay the device on clean, flat work surface.
** Label the test device with sample name.
2. Add 2 drops (~50pul) of the sample solution to the sample well.
** make sure there are no air bubble
3. Sample will start wicking up the membrane.
4. Read result within 10-15 min.
** do not interpret result after 15 min. Not following this procedure can lead to inaccurate results.

RESULT INTERPRETATION.
POSITIVE RESULT:-
-2 colored bands appear, one at the control line (C) and one at the test line (T).
** Look closely on T line, any visible or faint line indicates +ve for SARS-CoV-2 infection.
NEGATIVE RESULT:-
- Only 1 colored band at the control line (C) is visible. This indicates that virus antigen is not detected.
** See the limitations section as stated in IFU.
INVALID RESULT:-
Control Line (C) is absent.
** You should repeat the test by using a new test device.

SWAB 1:
swab the fabric tip on inside of your left cheek (between the cheek and gum) by rubbing up and down for at least 5 times.
**avoid tongue, teeth & gum
Repeat step above on the right cheek using the same swab.
Using the same swab, swab the palate for 5 times.
SWAB 2:-
Insert only fabric tip of the swab gently into 1 nostril until you feel slight resistance (approximately 2cm up your nose). Roll the swab around the inside of the nostril, making 5 complete circle
**Do not insert too deep
Repeat the step above with the nostril.

What did we need to do if resulted positive?
- Consult a healthcare professional immediately. Additional molecular testing such as PCR test may be required to confirm your result.
- Your healthcare professional will determine the best way to care for you, based on the test results along with medical history and symptoms.
- You should self-isolate to prevent spreading the virus to others.
Reporting COVID-19 Results:-
1. Scan QR code on the test cassette to upload your result for report generation via mySALIXIUM App.
* Once your test is completed, put the used test device and buffer tube into the waste bag provided and seal the zipper completely.
* Keep all of the used test lit contents in the sealed plastic bag and throw in your general household waste.
* Wash your hands thoroughly for 20 sec, using soap and warm water or using hand sanitizer.
